ANIRUDH DESHPANDE is Associate Professor of History at the University of Delhi.

VIPUL DUTTA is a doctoral candidate at Kings College London. He is studying the impact of the First and Second World Wars on the Indian Army Officer Corps.

AMAR FAROOQUI teaches in the Department of History, University of Delhi.

GOWHAR FAZILI is a research scholar at the Department of Sociology, Delhi School of Economics, University of Delhi. He is from Kashmir.

SABEENA GADIHOKE is Associate Professor, Video and TV Production at the AJK Mass Communication Research Centre at Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi. She is also a filmmaker and cameraperson. Her book Chronicles of Homai Vyarawalla was published by Mapin Publishing in 2006.

SOMAK GHOSHAL is an editor and writer based in Delhi.

FARHAT HASAN is a Professor of History at University of Delhi specialising in the History of Medieval and Early Modern South Asia. He is the author of State and Locality in Mughal India: Power Relations in Western India, c. 1570-1730 (Cambridge University Press, UK).

LATHA JISHNU is an independent journalist and columnist who writes on trade, development and intellectual property.

MALAVIKA KARLEKAR is Co-editor of the Indian Journal of Gender Studies and Curator of Re-presenting Indian Women A Visual Documentary 1875- 1947, both at the Centre for Women’s Development Studies, New Delhi. She writes a regular column based on memoirs and archival photographs for The Telegraph(Kolkata).

ANURADHA MARWAH is a writer and academic. She has written novels, plays, short stories and popular and academic articles. She teaches English Literature and Creative Writing in a college affiliated with the University of Delhi.

KAVERY NAMBISAN is a surgeon and novelist. Her most recent novel, A Town Like Ours was published by Aleph Book Company (New Delhi, 2014).

MARCY NEWMAN is author of The Politics of Teaching Palestine to Americans: Addressing Pedagogical Strategies and a founding member of the US Campaign for the Academic and Cultural Boycott of Israel.

KRISHNA MOHAN SHRIMALI is a former Professor of History at the University of Delhi.

SUNIT SINGH is an editor at the open-submission leftist monthly the Platypus Review.

ATUL SOOD is Associate Professor at the Centre for the Study of Regional Development and Director of the North East India Studies Program, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi.

SHIVANGINI TANDON is a PhD researcher in the Department of History, University of Delhi. She has taught in several colleges including, Kirori Mal College, St Stephen’s College and Miranda House, University of Delhi.
