SANJAY SIPAHIMALANI is a writer who works in an advertising agency in Mumbai.

BRIAN STODDART is Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research) at La Trobe University in Melbourne, Australia. After completing his PhD on Congress politics in inter-war South India, he turned to the study of sport as social history and is recognised internationally for his work on sport in Australian society, sport in the British Empire, Caribbean cricket, sport and the media and the political dimensions of sport. He has published extensively in all these and related areas, and is prominent as a media observer on sport.

C.P. SURENDRAN has three volumes of poetry to his credit. Poems from his collections, Gemini II, Pothumous Poems and Canaries On The Moon, have been widely anthologized in India and abroad. Surendran's first novel, An Iron Harvest, is scheduled to be released in India and abroad in September.He works as a columnist and journalist in Bombay. Currently Surendran is working on a collection of poems, whose tentative title is Lachrimae.

RAMU RAMANATHAN has penned 15 plays (staged), directed 18 and acted in one. He has coordinated and conceptualised workshops pertaining to theatre, over and above, sustaining, Theatre Positive, a play-reading movement for more than five years. He is the editor of PT NOTES, a monthly theatre newsletter, besides being an ardent student of theatre.

ANDREW WHITEHEAD lives in Delhi, and is the Director in India of the BBC World Service Trust.
