ASHISH CHANDOLA is a Bangalore based freelance wildlife filmmaker, photographer and an occasional writer.

SHANTHI CHANDOLA is a naturalist, researcher, freelance wildlife photographer and wildlife filmmaker based in Bangalore.

S. THEODORE BASKARAN is a former honorary wildlife warden and nature writer. He is the author of The Dance of the Sarus (OUP), and writes both in English and Tamil.

DIVYABHANUSINH is Trustee and Vice President of WWF India and Member, CAT Specialist Group, Species Survival Commission, World Conservation Union (IUCN), and the author of End of A Trail: The Cheetah in India (1995) and The Stories of Asia’s Lions (2005).

TISHANI DOSHI is a freelance journalist and dancer based in Chennai.

DARRYL D’MONTE is a Mumbai-based environmental journalist and the former Resident Editor of The Times of India. He is the author of Ripping the Fabric: The Decline of Mumbai and its Mills (Oxford University Press, 2002).

DILIP D’SOUZA is a one-time software professional who now writes for a living. He has authored two books and won several awards for his writing.

MANDAKINI DUBEY received her Doctorate in English from Duke University in 2003. Since then, she has worked in the US and India as teacher, a freelance writer, editor, and once, as a film director’s assistant.

RANMAL SINGH JHALA is a designer who has extensively been involved with ‘Whole Brain Learning’ with an emphasis on the arts and ecology.

VANDANA JOSHI is a historian of Nazi Germany and the author of Gender and Power in the Third Reich, Palgrave,UK, 2003.

MINI KAPOOR is a senior editor with The Indian Express.

RANJIT LAL is the author of Crow Chronicles and The Life and Times of Altu Faltu.

SUNJOY MONGA is a naturalist writer and photographer. He has authored and photographed five books, including the much acclaimed City Forest: Mumbai’s National Park, Wildlife Reserves of India, The Mumbai Nature Guide, Birds of Mumbai and The Nature of EsselWorld and Water Kingdom. He was also co-author of Photoguide to Birds of India. He has also done wildlife cinematography for several national and international television programmes.

VIKRAMAJIT RAM is a designer, writer and photographer with a special interest in architectural history and the environment.

GHAZALA SHAHABUDDIN is an ecologist with the Environmental Studies Group of the Council for Social Development, New Delhi and works on issues related to forests and biodiversity conservation.

PRIYA SANGAMESWARAN is a Visiting Fellow at the Centre for Interdisciplinary Studies in Environment & Development, Bangalore, and works on questions of equity in water.

NANDINI SUNDAR is Professor of Sociology, Delhi School of Economics.

VALMIK THAPAR is a sociologist, naturalist and tiger expert.

KUNAL VERMA is a filmmaker, writer and photographer. Besides having filmed Project Tiger and other wildlife series, he has also made films on the defence forces, including Akash Yodha and The Standard Bearers (National Defence Academy).

BELINDA WRIGHT is the Founder and Executive Director of the Wildlife Protection Society of India.
