SUVOJIT BAGCHI is a journalist based in Kolkata.

NITOO DAS is a birder, caricaturist and poet. She teaches English at Indraprastha College for Women, University of Delhi.

DARRYL D’MONTE chairs the Forum of Environmental Journalists of India (FEJI) and lives in Mumbai.

DILIP D’SOUZA is a writer. He has won several awards for his writing and has published six books. He lives in Bombay.

MOHAN GURUSWAMY is a Visiting Fellow at the Observer Research Foundation and the Forum for Strategic Initiatives, New Delhi, and heads the Centre for Policy Alternatives, New Delhi. Author of several books on policy issues, his latest is Chasing the Dragon: Will India Catch-up with China?

SALMAN HAIDAR is a former diplomat who held ambassadorial assignments in Bhutan, China and the UK and served in Egypt, Afghanistan and the UN. He retired as Foreign Secretary

SOPAN JOSHI is a freelance journalist and currently is a Research Fellow at the Gandhi Peace Foundation in New Delhi, which in July 2016 brought out his first book Jal Thal Mal. It explores the science and history of sanitation from a socio-environmental perspective, in Hindi.

LATHA JISHNU is an independent journalist and columnist who writes on trade, politics and development concerns.

SANJAY KAK is a documentary filmmaker and writer. His film Jashn-e-Azadi (How we celebrate freedom, 2007) and the edited anthology Until My Freedom Has Come – The New Intifada in Kashmir (2011) are both about the uncovering of contemporary Kashmir.

HIRANMAY KARLEKAR is Consultant Editor of The Pioneer. He was a former editor of the Hindustan Times and a Nieman Fellow at Harvard. He is the author of Bangladesh: The Next Afghanistan? (Sage, 2005) and Endgame in Afghanistan: For Whom the Dice Rolls (Sage, 2012).
