SUDHANVA DESHPANDE is an actor with Jana Natya Manch, Delhi, and publisher with LeftWord Books. In 2015-16, he co-directed a joint Indian- Palestinian theatre production which toured 11 Indian cities. He is the author of Halla Bol: The Death and Life of Safdar Hashmi (2020).

DEBOLINA DEY teaches at Azim Premji University, Bhopal. They previously taught at Ramjas College and Lady Shri Ram College for Women, University of Delhi.

SHOHINI GHOSH is a Sajjad Zaheer Chair Professor at the AJK Mass Communication Research Centre, Jamia Millia Islamia.

SHAZIA MALIK is an Assistant Professor at the Centre for Women’s Studies and Research, University of Kashmir, and author of Women’s Development Amid Conflict in Kashmir: A Socio-Cultural Study. Her research explores the impact of violence on women’s development, women’s rights in Kashmir, and gender relations in oral traditions and performative practices

RITU MENON is a feminist publisher and writer. Her two most recent books are: Zohra: A Biography in Four Acts (2021) and India On Their Minds: 8 Women, 8 Ideas of India (2023).

IMAN KUMAR MITRA teaches History at the Shiv Nadar University, Greater Noida. His research interests include economic history, history of the economic discipline, Marxism and postcolonial theory.

PARUL DAVE MUKHERJI is a Professor at the School of Arts and Aesthetics, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. She has edited Ebrahim Alkazi: Directing Art —The Making of a Modern Indian Art World (Mapin Publishing in association with Art Heritage Gallery, New Delhi, 2016).

SHIKHA MUKERJEE is a senior journalist and political commentator based in Kolkata.

ARVIND NARRAIN is a writer and legal scholar who is a Visiting Professor at the National Law School, Bangalore.
